Your first guest send needs no signup. Later sends use a free account, not a required paid subscription. Keep a local copy until your recipient confirms the download.
Select the files and check the current limits. Add a password when available. Keep the tab open until the upload completes.
Copy the completed link into an email or message. Send any password separately, and tell the recipient when the link expires.
Guest links expire after 24 hours. Ask the recipient to save a local copy and check it. Use plan-limited account storage when temporary access is not enough.
A project ZIP, an original video and a sensitive PDF need different checks. Use the workflow that matches the file, then confirm your recipient can download it.
Share the file itself rather than a compressed chat preview. Keep the original export and compare a checksum after download when exact quality matters.
An email can carry a download link instead of an oversized attachment. Check access permissions and give the recipient a clear expiry time.
Where enabled, choose a download password before sharing. Send it separately from the link. Password access is not the same as end-to-end file encryption.
A guest link expires after 24 hours. A free account supports repeat temporary sends; permanent files use your current storage allowance. Check the plan before promising long-term access.
Upload speed is not download speed. Allow time for the entire handoff, keep the upload tab open and verify the recipient has enough free disk space.
Convert an archive, extract audio or work on a PDF before sending it. Check output quality and save the result locally; a processing link is not a backup.
