1. Service Description
Big File Sharing provides:
- Temporary private file transfer — upload files and share a unique download link without mandatory account registration
- Free online tools — file conversion, formatting, and utility processing in the browser or on temporary servers
- Educational content — guides, FAQs, and blog articles
Files you upload are automatically deleted after approximately 24 hours. We do not guarantee permanent storage, synchronization, or long-term backup.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, you should use the service only with parental or guardian permission where required by local law.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to upload, share, or use the service for:
- Illegal content, including pirated software, malware, viruses, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights without authorization
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content intended to harm individuals or groups
- Spam, automated abuse, denial-of-service attacks, or attempts to bypass rate limits
- Phishing, fraud, or impersonation
- Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law
We may remove content, block IPs, and cooperate with authorities without prior notice when we believe these Terms or law have been violated.
4. Your Content & Responsibilities
You retain ownership of files you upload. You represent that you have the legal right to upload and share all content you submit. You are solely responsible for:
- Who receives your download links
- Downloading files before automatic deletion
- Verifying tool output before use in production or legal workflows
- Compliance with export control, privacy, and industry regulations applicable to your data
5. Private Links & Security
Download links are unlisted and tokenized but not password-protected by default. Anyone with the link may download the file while it remains available. Treat links as confidential. We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by link sharing you initiate.
6. File Retention & Availability
We automatically delete shared files after 24 hours. Files processed by online tools are deleted after 2 hours. We do not guarantee uptime, bandwidth, or successful delivery. Service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or technical reasons.
7. Online Tools
Tools are provided for convenience. Output may contain errors. Always verify results. Tool uploads follow the same temporary retention and privacy model described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Big File Sharing website, branding, layout, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of our site without permission. Your uploaded files remain yours.
9. Advertising
The service is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertisements are provided by third parties. We do not endorse advertised products unless explicitly stated. Ad content is subject to advertiser and Google policies.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. See our Disclaimer for additional details.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIG FILE SHARING AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM:
- Automatic file deletion or expired links
- Unauthorized access via shared links
- Service interruptions or errors
- Reliance on tool output or blog content
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Big File Sharing from claims arising from your uploads, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for abuse or legal reasons. Upon termination, remaining files may be deleted immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the site operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in competent courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
15. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
