PDF Tools

Free PDF tools: optimizer, organizer, password protect, flatten, annotator, Word to PDF, and PDF to Word. No signup.

Compress, organize, password-protect, flatten, annotate, and convert PDFs — free, no signup.

PDF remains the default for contracts, invoices, portfolios, and “please just open this on any OS” documents. The PDF Tools collection on Big File Sharing covers jobs people still open Acrobat for: shrinking heavy files, restructuring pages, passwords, flattening forms, markup, and moving between Word and PDF.

Editing and security: use the PDF Optimizer when email rejects a 40 MB deck; the PDF Organizer when page order is wrong; PDF Security to password-protect a PDF; PDF Annotator for a one-person markup pass; and Flatten PDF so filled fields cannot be edited after send.

Conversion (also listed in the converters silo): Word to PDF freezes layout; PDF to Word is for text-based PDFs—scanned image PDFs need OCR first; PDF to Image rasters pages for docs sites, then optionally the Bulk Image Resizer.

These utilities are free one-off jobs with short temporary storage—not a document management system. We do not keep a public gallery. Download results and keep your own copies. For large packets, send a private homepage link after you finish.

Browse editing tools below, then the conversion set. Chain when needed (optimize, then flatten, then password; Word to PDF, then merge).
